Mechanic Cabinet (/inspections) is the queue of vehicle inspections: what is due, what is overdue, and what has already been done.

The Only overdue switch narrows the list to what has already slipped — the default view shows everything, which on a large fleet is mostly noise.
¶ Conducting and rescheduling
Conduct opens the inspection itself. Reschedule asks for a New date and moves the plan without losing the fact that it was moved.
New accident inspection creates an unplanned inspection — the one after an accident, which does not belong to any schedule.
¶ Scheduled and effective are different dates
Scheduled is the plan, Effective is what the next interval is counted from. Rescheduling moves the plan; it does not silently shift the whole future schedule.
