Fleet map (/fleet-map) shows where the fleet is and where it has been. The screen exists in every company type.
¶ What is on it
- Cars with their current position and state.
- Locations from Fleet locations — the points a stop is matched against.
- The track of a selected car for a chosen day, with its stops.
Day filters are built from the data itself, so a day with no movement is simply not offered.
¶ Stops, and why they need locations
A stop is a place where a car stood long enough to matter. On its own it is a dot on a map; matched against a location it becomes 20 minutes at the petrol station. That matching is what the Radius, m of each location controls — see the note there.
¶ Two things the map cannot tell you
A missing track is not proof a car stood still: it can equally be a device that stopped reporting. Check GPS signal integrity before treating a gap as a fact.
Rights: FLEET_LOCATION_MANAGE and FLEET_POI_SYNC control the location layer, not the map itself.
